Made in France

In February 2007 Annois, Jane organised for Seven ceramists from the Rhone Alpes region arrived to Australia to present their work in exhibitions and pottery expos at Australia. It enriched the exchange of ideas with the French potters and enabled them to participate in the pottery expos, which they inspired.

I was able to take part in this exhibition. It was a cross-cultural exhibition showcasing ceramics Made in France and Australia.

Curated by local ceramicist, Jane Annois, and Manningham Gallery Curator, Penny Tripp, the Made In France exhibition is a celebration of Australian and French art connections.

Exhibiting alongside well known French potters, Made In France will also feature works by a host of established Australian potters who have spent time in their studios and homes in France.
